The station of the DOME is extra deep so that the oven fits on it perfectly. It's a beautiful addition to your outdoor kitchen. The station is finished with bamboo, which along with the corten steel provides a naturally warm look. At the bottom of the compartments is space for storage of firewood or cooking utensils.
The workstations are made of corten steel, which develops an orange-brown patina over time. Corten steel is a metal alloy made by adding copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium to iron. When exposed to air, the material forms a protective layer of rust. This natural coating of rust prevents further corrosion.
